Debuggers is a racing game in the same vein as Snakes and Ladders, but with some strategy, chance and a lot of surprise added to it.
Let’s start with the basic concept. Hidden tiles are interesting because they make the game unfold as you go and since they are placed at random, each game is a new one (a very appreciated concept).
When a program stops on a tile, the tile is unveiled and the player has to do what is indicated on the tile (move forward or backward, skip a turn, etc.).
The programs represent antivirus trying to run in a totally infected computer. The goal is to make 1-2 or 3 programs work, making them go from Start to Finish, all the while debugging the system.
We included viruses that can either be friendly or not.
You understand easily that you should keep them friendly to you.
We also sprinkled the game with some funny rules like stealing a virus from another player or changing an opponent’s virus state.
